The man lost his right arm and leg and his left hand was maimed after a land mine left over from the Vietnam War exploded as he was trying to salvage it for scrap metal. Members of Veterans for Peace toured Vietnam in April to learn about efforts to mitigate the suffering of the country's Agent Orange victims and people who have been injured by bombs and land mines left over from the war.
