The interior of a former classroom is subdivided into small individual detention cells at the Tuol Sleng prison in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The prison, where an estimated 17,000 people were brutally interrogated under the Khmer Rouge and later murdered in the Killing Fields, has been left much as it was when the Vietnamese army ousted the regime in 1979.
