At 1.3 kilometers, the Eastside Gallery is the longest stretch of the Berlin Wall left standing. After the Wall came down in 1989, hundreds of artists covered it with their paintings, making it the largest open air art gallery in the world. But with the passage of time, the wall is now crumbling and many of the paintings are flaking off or have been obscured by graffiti. Berlin, Germany. Aug. 1, 2007.
