For the past seven years, he has worked to support his mother by selling postcards to tourists in the former imperial capital of Hue. Oconnor, 64, of Sioux Falls, S.D., bought a bicycle for Lee so he could work more easily, and the pair have formed a close bond. “I’d bring him back home with me, if I could,” said Oconnor.
