A steady rain begins to fall, as two men sing a hymn during the annual Taong Putik, or "mud people," festival in Bibiclat, on Luzon island, Philippines. The festival honors St. John the Baptist, and devotees cover themselves with mud, banana leaves and vines to symbolize the animal skins the saint wore in the Bible. June 24, 2011.
